Bill Moody's Evan Horne is a unique creation: a brilliant jazz pianist until an accident all but ended his career and circumstances forced him into the role of private investigator.

In Solo Hand, the first of Moody's acclaimed US series, Horne becomes caught up in a blackmail scam which involves his ex-wife, a bag crammed with suspect cash, seriously lethal threats and some highly incriminating photographs.

Bill Moody is a jazz drummer who has toured with Lou Rawls, Maynard Ferguson, Earl Hines and Annie Ross.
