Krupa burst onto the scene in the 1930 with the Benny Goodman Band and formed his own big band in 1938. This 4CD set picks up his story in 1936 with a couple of outings for his swing band featuring Goodman and Roy Eldridge, and then follows the big band from 1938 to 1946.
